How to Take It

Daily dose

Ubiqsome® is a breakthrough formulation that structurally integrates CoQ10 into a phospholipid matrix sourced from sunflower lecithin¹. Your intestinal walls recognize this lipid structure instantly, allowing the active CoQ10 to pass through biological membranes seamlessly.

Why does the delivery method of CoQ10 matter?

Standard CoQ10 is water-insoluble and has a hard time passing through your digestive walls. Welleo eliminates this obstacle by integrating the delivery vehicle directly into the capsule. By using the clinically validated Ubiqsome® technology, the CoQ10 is wrapped in a friendly lipid membrane and suspended in 350 mg of MCT oil¹. This means your digestive tract recognizes it instantly as nutrients rather than a bare powder, ensuring it reaches your cells instead of passing through unutilized.

Where does the CoQ10 in this product come from?

It is produced by fermentation and then processed by Indena S.p.A. in Italy into Ubiqsome®, a phospholipid complex standardised to 18–22% CoQ10, measured by laboratory assay (HPLC). One softgel contains 150 mg of that complex, equivalent to 30 mg of coenzyme Q10, suspended in 350 mg of MCT oil.

Are there any safety limits or contraindications?

Yes. Do not exceed 1 softgel a day. This product is not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding. If you take anticoagulants (blood thinners) or medication for a heart condition, speak to your doctor or pharmacist before you start. The softgel shell contains bovine gelatin, so it is not suitable for vegans.

Why does the softgel contain red iron oxide?

Coenzyme Q10 is highly sensitive to light and can lose its potency if exposed to UV rays. To guarantee that the active compound remains completely stable and powerful from the day of manufacturing to the moment you consume it, Welleo uses a protective softgel tinted with natural red iron oxide. This acts as a physical barrier against light, preventing oxidation without using synthetic dyes or titanium dioxide.

What does HPLC mean?

HPLC stands for high-performance liquid chromatography. It is a standard laboratory method for measuring exactly how much of a given compound is in a sample: the material is dissolved and pushed through a column that separates its components, and a detector measures each one as it comes out. When a page here says an extract is standardised to a certain percentage (HPLC), that is the method behind the number — the concentration is measured in a lab, not estimated from the plant.
